Meet Dr. Dan – Chiropractor, Healer, and Lifelong Student of the Mind-Body Connection
Â
Hi, I’m Dr. Dan—and I’m so glad you’re here. Too often, we walk into a practitioner’s office, share our whole story, and never learn theirs. So, here’s a little about mine.
I grew up the 5th of 8 kids in a loving, lively family. At age 6, I suffered from terrible ear infections, spending many hours in doctors’ offices. By the time I was 7, I knew I wanted to be a doctor. My 6th-grade teacher even started calling me “Dr. Dan”—and it stuck.
But as I grew older, I noticed something: the healthcare system I’d dreamed of joining often left out a huge piece of the puzzle. From the age of 12, I devoured books on the mind-body connection. I couldn’t shake the feeling that traditional medicine was missing a deeper dimension of healing.
My first career step was nursing, working on a neurosurgical floor. There, I saw countless back and neck surgeries—many that seemed like the last resort after overlooking the root cause. That experience drove me to study Naprapathy and Chiropractic, searching for a better way to help people heal.

Early in my chiropractic career, I was drawn to energetic healing modalities like Neuro-Emotional Technique, Applied Kinesiology, and homeopathy. Eventually, my path led me to Shamanism—the world’s oldest spiritual and healing tradition. Through a year-long intensive training and study in New Mexico, and ongoing studying with the Shipibo in Peru and the Huichol in Mexico, I learned how to work with the body as spirit, moving energy to restore balance and harmony.
Today, I blend Shamanic healing with chiropractic care, creating an approach that treats the body, mind, and spirit as one integrated whole. It’s not just about relieving pain—it’s about helping you reconnect to your vitality, clarity, and true self.
